Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Omar Shehab kicked off to start the match. Kareem Abaza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 2nd minute of the match, but Hanafy Mounir made a huge save. If Naguib Karam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 9th minute, Biban's Naguib Karam ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hanafy Mounir. Hanafy Mounir yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Ziyad Gameel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gameel Baher having to interfere. Naguib Karam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hanafy Mounir having to interfere. Naguib Karam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Matruh's Hanafy Mounir played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Naguib Karam in the 24th minute of play. Hanafy Mounir came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Biban's Kareem Abaza. But to his dismay, Kareem Abaza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Omar Shehab fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gameel Baher having to interfere. Naguib Karam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Hanafy Mounir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 41 minutes, Qasem Hashem mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Matruh and the Biban players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 41st match minute, Matruh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Qasem Hashem to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Matruh's Hanafy Mounir got control of the ball when Kareem Abaza tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Naguib Karam made a kick off. Omar Shehab sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yassine Safwat's late challenge caught a Matruh's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yassine Safwat helped the player get up and apologised. In the 53rd minute, Yassine Safwat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Biban's Yassine Safwat got a free kick in the 54th minute. Biban's Kareem Abaza got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Naguib Karam came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Biban fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Naguib Karam couldn't finish the play. In the 63rd minute, Kareem Abaza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Matruh's Essam Nizar shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 65th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Gameel Baher but with some difficulty. Yassine Safwat was shown his second yellow card after 66 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 67th minute, Yassine Safwat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kareem Abaza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Hanafy Mounir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 77 minutes into the match, Kareem Abaza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hanafy Mounir. Matruh's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kareem Abaza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Hanafy Mounir showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kareem Abaza in the 83rd minute of the match. If Kareem Abaza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute, Naguib Karam left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Biban fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Kareem Abaza might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hanafy Mounir. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kareem Abaza ran back to his position shaking his head. Biban walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
