Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Walid Nabil started the match with the kick off. Rasheed Hisham struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Nagy Nagy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Shatturah. After 12 minutes, Desouqy Mostafa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Assiut and the Shatturah players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Shatturah booed when Assiut was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Desouqy Mostafa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Shatturah's Abdel Masoud Gameel got a free kick in the 14th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Rasheed Hisham managed to get in a good position for a shot. Shatturah's supporters rose to their feet, but Rasheed Hisham was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nagy Nagy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fahed Hosny made in the 25th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Shatturah's Yousry Batran. In a very dangerous position, a player in Assiut fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 26th minute. Penalty! In the 27th minute there was a penalty for Shatturah. Ayoub Hany stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Nagy Nagy. 0-1. Rasheed Hisham received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Nagy Nagy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bahaa Abdel Masoud's late challenge caught a Shatturah's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bahaa Abdel Masoud helped the player get up and apologised. Bahaa Abdel Masoud kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Nagy Nagy didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rasheed Hisham went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Fahed Hosny kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. After having played for 43 minutes, Rasheed Hisham managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Shatturah's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rasheed Hisham was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rasheed Hisham might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nagy Nagy. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rasheed Hisham ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 48th minute, Ayoub Hany made a precise shot to the right of Nagy Nagy. Assiut's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Assiut's Walid Nabil got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Assiut getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Yehia Darweesh hit a great ball. Nagy Nagy made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Rasheed Hisham sent off a good shot on target. When Tawfeek Belal fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Shatturah's protests and gave Tawfeek Belal a yellow card for diving instead. Tawfeek Belal hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Baher Khaled took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 69th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Basyouny Samir. Shatturah's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Rasheed Hisham managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Shatturah fans' excitement grew in the 81st match minute when Shatturah's Rasheed Hisham looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a defensive mix-up in Assiut's zone, Rasheed Hisham stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nagy Nagy came out of the goal and Rasheed Hisham tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 90th minute, Rasheed Hisham got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Rasheed Hisham kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nagy Nagy. That made the score 0-5 in the 93 minute of play. Rasheed Hisham recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Shatturah's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
