Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Shaker Hamdy made the kick off which started today's match. Walid Gomaa did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Alaa Yasser 3 minutes into the match. When Ziyad Taimour came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Veni Vidi Vici fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ziyad Taimour couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Veni Vidi Vici booed when Zamalek SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ameer Aaser didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ziyad Taimour blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alaa Yasser having to make a save. In the 19th minute, Zamalek SC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ziyad Taimour fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Walid Gomaa in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alaa Yasser prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alaa Yasser stood somewhat misplaced when Ziyad Taimour came free in front of goal and shot 4-0 to the left of him in the 22 minute. Ziyad Taimour scored 5-0 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alaa Yasser, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alaa Yasser made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walid Gomaa in the 29th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shaker Hamdy in the 31st minute of play forced Veni Vidi Vici's goalkeeper Ayoub Kamel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 34 minutes of play, Zamalek SC's Shaker Hamdy made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ayoub Kamel was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Zamalek SC's zone, Ziyad Taimour stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alaa Yasser came out of the goal and Ziyad Taimour tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Veni Vidi Vici's Ziyad Taimour got a free kick in the 41st minute. In the 42nd match minute, Zamalek SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaafar Nayef to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Walid Gomaa made a kick off. Alaa Yasser showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walid Gomaa in the 53rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Zamalek SC defense, Ziyad Taimour kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alaa Yasser. The Zamalek SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alaa Yasser should have stopped the shot. In the 65th minute, Walid Gomaa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alaa Yasser was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kamel Hakeem during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Kamel Hakeem hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. 70 minutes into the game, Veni Vidi Vici's Ziyad Taimour nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alaa Yasser made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ziyad Taimour in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alaa Yasser saved Zamalek SC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ziyad Taimour in the 75th minute of play forced Zamalek SC's goalkeeper Alaa Yasser to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Ziyad Taimour put it in 10-1 from a short distance just to the right of Alaa Yasser. Ziyad Taimour blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alaa Yasser having to make a save. Alaa Yasser made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ziyad Taimour in the 87th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, Zamalek SC's goal looked a bit too open when Ziyad Taimour came free, but Alaa Yasser reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walid Gomaa in the 93rd minute of play forced Zamalek SC's goalkeeper Alaa Yasser to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alaa Yasser showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ziyad Taimour in the 95th minute of the match.
