Kooru's Lembitu Lume managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Emil Veldermann in the 24 minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eevald Lüdimõis in the 35th minute of play forced Hobringi SK's goalkeeper Kuuno Kalamees to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ermo Väljaste received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Kuuno Kalamees tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Taavet Rodin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hobringi SK's Kuuno Kalamees proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Hobringi SK from getting a goal against them. Hobringi SK's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Ermo Väljaste 92 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Kalvi Kukkur managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kooru's supporters rose to their feet, but Kalvi Kukkur was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kuuno Kalamees breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
