If Ermo Väljaste had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Rain Treu fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vahastu SK's protests and gave Rain Treu a yellow card for diving instead. Risto Astuja scored 0-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Risto Klaasen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 24 played minutes Vahastu SK got a freekick which was hit by Kajar Remme. Ermo Väljaste fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harald Vernik having to interfere. Risto Astuja struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Risto Klaasen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vahastu SK. In the 36th minute Ermo Väljaste shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harald Vernik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Taavet Rodin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Vahastu SK's Ervin Videvik managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Eevald Lüdimõis in the 39 minute of the game. In the 40th match minute, Vahastu SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ervin Videvik to maneuver through the defense. Harald Vernik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leo Arus in the 42nd minute of play. 47 minutes into the game, Veiko Kotkas threw the ball into play from the sideline. Kooru's Kalvi Kukkur quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. If Kalvi Kukkur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The wind increased when Ermo Väljaste made the kick off in the second half. Kooru's attentive Heiki Trepp managed to snatch the ball when Ervin Videvik made a throw-in in the 53rd minute of the game. If Kalvi Kukkur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Risto Klaasen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eerik Ott in the 67th minute of the match. In the 78th minute of the game Ervin Videvik made a throw-in which Kaljo Kalm played forward. Ermo Väljaste sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Veiko Kotkas made in the 83rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Andrus Univer. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vahastu SK's goalkeeper Harald Vernik, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Vahastu SK's zone, Ermo Väljaste stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Harald Vernik came out of the goal and Ermo Väljaste tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Harald Vernik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ermo Väljaste in the 89th minute of the match. If Taavet Rodin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 94 minutes into the match, Vahastu SK's goal looked a bit too open when Ermo Väljaste came free, but Harald Vernik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chants of Vahastu SK echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Kooru had held the ball for most of the match.
