Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) FC Spartak Tartu's Eiko Trumm started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Kalju Virmaline came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the FC Spartak Tartu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kalju Virmaline couldn't finish the play. 15 minutes into the match, Marimetsa FS's goal looked a bit too open when Eiko Trumm came free, but Priit Vanaliin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17thth minute of the game Kalju Virmaline who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Marimetsa FS's Priit Vanaliin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Marimetsa FS's Einar Nurme got a free kick in the 17th minute. Priit Vanaliin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eiko Trumm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kaarel Toom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rd match minute, Marimetsa FS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marti Hellenurm to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 34 minutes, Kuido Köök managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Spartak Tartu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kuido Köök was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Priit Vanaliin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eiko Trumm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th match minute, Marimetsa FS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Taavi Pererahu to maneuver through the defense. The referee felt a red card was in order, 42 minutes into the game, when Marti Hellenurm put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Marimetsa FS fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 41st minute. Penalty! Kuido Köök walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Priit Vanaliin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eiko Trumm in the 47th minute of the match. After 48 played minutes FC Spartak Tartu got a freekick which was hit by Kaido Kink. After the first half FC Spartak Tartu were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Illimar Vitsut to strike the kick off in the second half. Priit Vanaliin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eiko Trumm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Illimar Vitsut struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Armin Maripuu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marimetsa FS. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Spartak Tartu's Eiko Trumm slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Priit Vanaliin. That made the score 0-2 after 63 minutes of play. If Eiko Trumm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eiko Trumm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Priit Vanaliin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Armin Maripuu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Illimar Vitsut in the 72nd minute of play. Eiko Trumm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Marimetsa FS's goalkeeper Priit Vanaliin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kalju Virmaline fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Priit Vanaliin having to interfere. After 91 played minutes Marimetsa FS got a freekick which was hit by Einar Nurme. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Spartak Tartu's Eiko Trumm slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Priit Vanaliin. That made the score 0-3 after 94 minutes of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. FC Spartak Tartu walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
