Kuuno Lillepuu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Vambola Naaskel fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Oja's protests and gave Vambola Naaskel a yellow card for diving instead. Vambola Naaskel kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aare Emane in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vambola Saare prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Harri Latt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sergo Neumann hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Vambola Saare took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eero Võigemast, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eero Võigemast fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vambola Saare having to interfere. 32 minutes into the game, Sergo Neumann was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Ainus's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Oja the free kick. Harri Latt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 38th minute, Harri Latt reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Kardo Ojasaar. The goal made the score 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Aare Emane managed to get in a good position for a shot. Oja's supporters rose to their feet, but Aare Emane was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vambola Saare breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aare Emane was the one to do the kick off. Kardo Ojasaar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harri Latt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st minute, Vambola Naaskel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 70 minutes into the game, Aare Emane was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Oja's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Ainus the free kick. Harri Latt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Kardo Ojasaar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eero Võigemast could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Vambola Saare made a huge save. Aare Emane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vambola Saare having to interfere. Eero Võigemast blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vambola Saare having to make a save. Vambola Saare took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aare Emane, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FC Ainus had played much better football throughout.
