The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Enno Pangsepp's late challenge caught a Raugi FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Enno Pangsepp helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Vändra Alévimeeskond's Enno Pangsepp got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Vändra Alévimeeskond's Silver Hint played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evert Lesta in the 4th minute of play. Kalev Eiber was a little too slow when Karmo Lätte got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 7th minute. The score was now 1-0. Evert Lesta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Silver Hint tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kristofer Vanaots succeeded in the game's 14th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. Evert Lesta might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Silver Hint. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Evert Lesta ran back to his position shaking his head. Jaan Annion took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 23rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Silver Hint. Vändra Alévimeeskond's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Kristofer Vanaots received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Silver Hint tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kristofer Vanaots in the 26th minute of play forced Vändra Alévimeeskond's goalkeeper Silver Hint to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Evert Lesta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Silver Hint tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ivo Vabadus kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. If Peep Raik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Kristofer Vanaots managed to get in a good position for a shot. Raugi FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Kristofer Vanaots was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silver Hint breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Silver Hint showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evert Lesta, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Evert Lesta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silver Hint having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kristofer Vanaots to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes, Heigo Luhamaa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vändra Alévimeeskond and the Raugi FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 52 played minutes Vändra Alévimeeskond got a freekick which was hit by Heigo Luhamaa. Kalev Eiber stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Karmo Lätte's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. Vändra Alévimeeskond's Karmo Lätte got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Uudo Palamets kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Pearu Ernits sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Evert Lesta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silver Hint having to interfere. After having played for 76 minutes, Kristofer Vanaots managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Raugi FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kristofer Vanaots was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Pearu Ernits had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Raugi FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Peep Raik hit a great ball. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Raugi FC's goalkeeper Kalev Eiber, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kristofer Vanaots fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silver Hint having to interfere. After having played for 91 minutes, Evert Lesta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Raugi FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Evert Lesta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Evert Lesta struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Silver Hint didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Raugi FC. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
