The tension between the JK Eriku and the FC Heineken players grew even worse after the yellow card. Harri Vilep hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Holger Rääbis received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rasmus Raud came out and tried to block the shot, but Holger Rääbis slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 16th minute. Märt Õis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Laur Haav tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 22 played minutes FC Heineken got a freekick which was hit by Edmund Nõmmik. Rain Silm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Rasmus Raud tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rasmus Raud made an important save on a dangerous shot by Holger Rääbis in the 33rd minute. Holger Rääbis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rasmus Raud having to interfere. Enn Halman hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. In the 42nd minute, Rain Silm fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Holger Rääbis struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Rasmus Raud didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Heineken. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Margus Vaide's late challenge caught a FC Heineken's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Margus Vaide helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of FC Heineken booed when JK Eriku was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Margus Vaide didn't get a good kick on the ball. Holger Rääbis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rasmus Raud having to make a save. FC Heineken's Rain Silm got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Madis Lember during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Anti Vaalma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Laur Haav tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Harri Vilep struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Laur Haav didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for JK Eriku. After some careless play in the JK Eriku defense, Holger Rääbis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rasmus Raud. The JK Eriku fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rasmus Raud should have stopped the shot. After 72 played minutes, FC Heineken's Raimond Liiv shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rasmus Raud came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Heineken reached it. Rain Silm recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 84 minutes of play, FC Heineken's Holger Rääbis made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rasmus Raud was left in no man's land by his defense there! JK Eriku's Rasmus Raud played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Holger Rääbis in the 88th minute of play. FC Heineken's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
