The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 4 minutes, Jüri Aalto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Kunnapohja's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jüri Aalto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jüri Aalto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Raimo Nuut sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alo Halliste didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jüri Aalto went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. If Heiko Koba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 23 played minutes Janeda got a freekick which was hit by Agur Riis. If Olari Uudekülg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alo Halliste made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Jüri Aalto sent off a good shot on target. In the 34th minute Heiko Koba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alo Halliste saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Janeda's Alo Halliste proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Janeda from getting a goal against them. Agur Riis hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Alo Halliste didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jüri Aalto went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Janeda's zone, Heiko Koba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alo Halliste came out of the goal and Heiko Koba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Heiko Koba took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Alo Halliste to make any attempt to save it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Heiko Koba was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, FC Kunnapohja's goal looked a bit too open when Olari Uudekülg came free, but Oodo Orumets reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jüri Aalto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jüri Aalto in the 60th minute of play forced Janeda's goalkeeper Alo Halliste to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jüri Aalto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Heiko Koba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alo Halliste having to interfere. Joe Taigur missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 73 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Alo Halliste right hand side. A collision led to Janeda getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Agur Riis hit a great ball. In the 75th minute, Heiko Koba made a precise shot to the right of Alo Halliste. Janeda's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Elar Luts managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Kunnapohja's supporters rose to their feet, but Elar Luts was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alo Halliste breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jüri Aalto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alo Halliste showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Heiko Koba in the 93rd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Heiko Koba put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Alo Halliste. There was no doubt that FC Kunnapohja were the better team. FC Kunnapohja's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
