A collision led to FC Kunnapohja getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Indrek Laanelepp hit a great ball. After having played for 15 minutes, Jüri Aalto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Kunnapohja's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jüri Aalto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Uno Hool showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Heiko Koba, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Jüri Aalto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Heiko Koba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elar Laasik hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Jüri Aalto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Uno Hool tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oodo Orumets showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aare Vaide, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 41st minute Aare Vaide shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oodo Orumets saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Kunnapohja's Heiko Koba got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

In the 53rd minute, Jüri Aalto made a precise shot to the right of Uno Hool. Heiko Koba ran back to his position shaking his head. Janis Joon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oodo Orumets having to interfere. In the 96th minute of the match, Heiko Koba tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Uno Hool saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Jüri Aalto managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Kunnapohja's supporters rose to their feet, but Jüri Aalto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Uno Hool breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The FC Kunnapohja supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Kunnapohja would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
