Bernhard Paju's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alo Halliste read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. Alo Halliste showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jüri Isu, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. When Taavi Rannus fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Janeda's protests and gave Taavi Rannus a yellow card for diving instead. Taavi Rannus hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Janeda's zone, Bernhard Paju stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alo Halliste came out of the goal and Bernhard Paju tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 19 played minutes Suuremetsa JK got a freekick which was hit by Ago Veskur. Kuuno Mahlapuu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ahti Uibo. Suuremetsa JK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Taavi Rannus got his second yellow card in the match during the 21st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Alo Halliste didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Suuremetsa JK's Jüri Isu shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. After recieving a nice pass, Suuremetsa JK's Urmet Oolo tried to score from far away in the 31st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 34 played minutes Janeda got a freekick which was hit by Olari Uudekülg. A hard shot by Urmet Oolo from long distance, 35 minutes into the match, got Alo Halliste's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. If Jüri Isu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raimo Nuut sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 43 minutes into the match, Suuremetsa JK's goal looked a bit too open when Raimo Nuut came free, but Ahti Uibo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 47 minutes, Jüri Isu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Suuremetsa JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jüri Isu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jüri Isu to strike the kick off in the second half. Urmet Oolo, 53 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Ago Veskur hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Agur Riis kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Jüri Isu struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Alo Halliste didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Suuremetsa JK. Jüri Isu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Alo Halliste tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raimo Nuut fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahti Uibo having to interfere. Olari Uudekülg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Suuremetsa JK getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Ago Veskur hit a great ball. If Raimo Nuut had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Agur Riis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Ahti Uibo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Raimo Nuut could shoot a difficult shot in the 96th minute, which Ahti Uibo however easily saved by the left post. 96 minutes into the game, Raimo Nuut recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ahti Uibo. Raimo Nuut showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
