Ainar Noorsalu started the match with the kick off. If Väino Hakk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ahto Ülisoo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ainar Noorsalu, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. After a rather tough play, FC Unicorns's Taaniel Hermann got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Hans Kosk's late challenge caught a FC Unicorns's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hans Kosk helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to JK Lakhe getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Hans Kosk hit a great ball. Rauno Jõekallas's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gerd Pere firmly grabbed it by the left post. Rauno Jõekallas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 32 played minutes JK Lakhe got a freekick which was hit by Juku Kais. Ainar Noorsalu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Väino Hakk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Ahto Ülisoo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silver Leesment was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 46th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aadu Randala made a kick off. Rauno Jõekallas struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Gerd Pere didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Unicorns. 58 minutes into the match, JK Lakhe's goal looked a bit too open when Rauno Jõekallas came free, but Gerd Pere reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gerd Pere showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aadu Randala in the 63rd minute of the match. Kaijo Lätte charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kaijo Lätte the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Thanks to some nice moves Väino Hakk could shoot a difficult shot in the 78th minute, which Ahto Ülisoo however easily saved by the left post. Ainar Noorsalu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Veiko Eenmäe kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
