When Sepo Valgma fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored As Roma's protests and gave Sepo Valgma a yellow card for diving instead. After 4 played minutes As Roma got a freekick which was hit by Sepo Valgma. After recieving a nice pass, Mudiste FS's Argo Kalinin tried to score from far away in the 5th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Tõnn Hiir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kaido Lenk in the 7th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in As Roma's zone, Kaido Lenk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tõnn Hiir came out of the goal and Kaido Lenk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Madis Veebel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 21 minutes, Madis Veebel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. As Roma's supporters crossed their fingers, but Madis Veebel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 22nd match minute, Mudiste FS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kardo Kubja to maneuver through the defense. Kaido Lenk hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. As Roma's Sepo Valgma got his second yellow card of the match in the 27th minute. The referee ordered Sepo Valgma off the ground. Sepo Valgma hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Kaido Lenk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Tõnn Hiir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mudiste FS's Ivar Riiga got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 33 minutes, Kaido Lenk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Ivar Riiga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mudiste FS's supporters rose to their feet, but Ivar Riiga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tõnn Hiir breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kaido Lenk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tõnn Hiir having to interfere. Ivar Riiga in the 41stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tõnn Hiir, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Madis Veebel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aabel Umal having to make a save. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

If Kaido Lenk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ivar Riiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 66 minutes, Jaak Kalamees mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the As Roma and the Mudiste FS players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jaak Kalamees kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 80th minute, Joosep Ling hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
