Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ivar Kapstas in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Urmas Annus prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Viljar Jahu kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. In the 9th minute of the match Anti Lember sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Janek Viilma skillfully saved the ball. In the 12th minute of the match Peep Silm sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Janek Viilma skillfully saved the ball. If Guido Eltmaa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Martin Mahlamaa fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pillapalu's protests and gave Martin Mahlamaa a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Pillapalu's Martin Mahlamaa got a free kick in the 18th minute. Unametsa's Jaanus Jaanus couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 19th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Pillapalu. Ivar Kapstas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Urmas Annus came out and tried to block the shot, but Ivar Kapstas slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 20th minute. Janek Viilma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kristjan Lehepuu, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 46th minute, Valdo Tõruke hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

If Ivar Kapstas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Pillapalu's zone, Janek Vask stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Urmas Annus came out of the goal and Janek Vask tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 58th minute Ivar Kapstas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Urmas Annus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66th minute of the match Anti Lember shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Janek Viilma showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Rauno Roosna kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Janek Vask in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Urmas Annus prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 81 minutes into the match, Unametsa's Janek Vask sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Urmas Annus narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pillapalu's Urmas Annus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Janek Vask in the 84th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Janek Vask ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Urmas Annus was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Pillapalu's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
