Ernst Põlluste sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Taavet Varblane fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Olustvere's protests and gave Taavet Varblane a yellow card for diving instead. Taavet Varblane hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Andris Viljaste was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Alo Noorsalu. Rasmus Rosin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andris Viljaste having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Kiduspaa's zone, Ernst Põlluste stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raimo Laadi came out of the goal and Ernst Põlluste tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arnold Täll in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Raimo Laadi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 22 minutes into the match, Kiduspaa's goal looked a bit too open when Ernst Põlluste came free, but Raimo Laadi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ernst Põlluste fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimo Laadi having to interfere. A hard shot 28 in the game by Uuno Kansi from a close distance when the talented Andris Viljaste managed to make a qualified save. Olustvere's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rasmus Rosin in the 32nd minute of play forced Olustvere's goalkeeper Andris Viljaste to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rasmus Rosin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ernst Põlluste had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ernst Põlluste fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimo Laadi having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rasmus Rosin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ernst Põlluste sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andris Viljaste took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rasmus Rosin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alo Noorsalu was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 64th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 67 minutes into the match, Kiduspaa's Uuno Kansi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andris Viljaste narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Taavet Varblane kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Raimo Laadi was out of position in the 70 minute of play, and Ernst Põlluste capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ernst Põlluste really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. If Uuno Kansi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Uuno Kansi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Andris Viljaste stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Uuno Kansi's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. In the 83rd minute Ernst Põlluste shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raimo Laadi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ernst Põlluste fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimo Laadi having to interfere. The supporters of Olustvere booed when Kiduspaa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alo Noorsalu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ernst Põlluste sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olustvere's Arnold Täll got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Raimo Laadi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernst Põlluste in the 95th minute of the match. After 96 minutes of play, Kiduspaa's Rasmus Rosin made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Andris Viljaste was left in no man's land by his defense there!
