The crowd rose to their feet as JK ETS's Elmo Vaga slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Egon Aar. That made the score 1-0 after 8 minutes of play. Armin Jürgenson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tõnu Villems having to make a save. In the 16th minute Kalju Vanapoiss shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egon Aar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With 20 minutes on the clock, Uku Roos commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. If Elmo Vaga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 30 minutes into the match, Ellama's goalkeeper Egon Aar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elmo Vaga. Egon Aar came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by JK ETS's Elmo Vaga. But to his dismay, Elmo Vaga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. After 40 played minutes JK ETS got a freekick which was hit by Kiur Kadastik. After 43 minutes JK ETS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Roland Raamets who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Roland Raamets almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but JK ETS's Tõnu Villems did a great save. Egon Aar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kalju Vanapoiss's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Armin Jürgenson made a kick off. Agur Vabadus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Egon Aar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elmo Vaga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. JK ETS's Tõnu Villems proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save JK ETS from getting a goal against them. If Elmo Vaga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The attack was good, but when Kalju Vanapoiss in the 62nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Egon Aar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kalju Vanapoiss in the 64th minute of the match. Egon Aar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elmo Vaga's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. In the 70th minute, Armin Jürgenson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ellama fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. A collision led to Ellama getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Jakob Arman hit a great ball. 75 minutes into the match, Elmo Vaga notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Ellama's Egon Aar. Egon Aar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Ellama's zone, Elmo Vaga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Egon Aar came out of the goal and Elmo Vaga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Elmo Vaga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Egon Aar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
