Adolf Leiten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Janis Einasto having to interfere. Ailar Vooremäe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduard Nõmmoja in the 12th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Emil Hallik left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Walla Walla Weasel Wacker fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. When Adolf Leiten fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Walla Walla Weasel Wacker's protests and gave Adolf Leiten a yellow card for diving instead. Adolf Leiten kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Walla Walla Weasel Wacker's zone, Eduard Nõmmoja stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ailar Vooremäe came out of the goal and Eduard Nõmmoja tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Eduard Nõmmoja managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kiritse's supporters rose to their feet, but Eduard Nõmmoja was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ailar Vooremäe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Emil Hallik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Janis Einasto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 62 minutes into the game, Walla Walla Weasel Wacker's Adolf Leiten nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Janis Einasto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 66 minutes into the game, Theodor Veerma was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kiritse's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Walla Walla Weasel Wacker the free kick. The audience was convinced that Emil Hallik's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Janis Einasto was relentless in the 67th minute of the game.
