The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of SK Kadakaotsa booed when JK Latkalu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tanel Toim didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alo Kasimir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alex Hanni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pearu Niinep having to interfere. In the 12th minute, Taavet Uibomäe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of JK Latkalu booed when SK Kadakaotsa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdek Naudi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pearu Niinep acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 20th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Helari Eenmäe. After having played for 21 minutes, Alex Hanni managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. JK Latkalu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alex Hanni was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to SK Kadakaotsa getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Evald Vaide hit a great ball. The supporters of SK Kadakaotsa booed when JK Latkalu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivar Poltimäe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Otto Laaneoks received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Hans Einla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, JK Latkalu's goal looked a bit too open when Otto Laaneoks came free, but Hans Einla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Otto Laaneoks recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pearu Niinep stood somewhat misplaced when Alex Hanni came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 37 minute. Valdek Naudi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alo Kasimir made a kick off. Otto Laaneoks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Taavet Uibomäe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Pearu Niinep tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 64 minutes into the match, SK Kadakaotsa's goal looked a bit too open when Taavet Uibomäe came free, but Pearu Niinep reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Taavet Uibomäe in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pearu Niinep saved SK Kadakaotsa from getting behind. In the 74th minute Alo Kasimir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hans Einla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pearu Niinep took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Taavet Uibomäe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th minute, Taavet Uibomäe made a precise shot to the right of Pearu Niinep. SK Kadakaotsa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Tanel Toim kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. JK Latkalu's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
