After a defensive mix-up in Myega's zone, Alex Hanni stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tom Juur came out of the goal and Alex Hanni tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Heigo Vaalma kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. In the 48th minute Leo Hakk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hans Einla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Alex Hanni made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ergo Lüdimois in the 58th minute of play forced JK Latkalu's goalkeeper Hans Einla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. JK Latkalu's supporters rose to their feet, but Taavet Uibomäe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tom Juur breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of JK Latkalu booed when Myega was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Heigo Vaalma didn't get a good kick on the ball.
