The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alo Veevo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joe Hint in the 5th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joe Hint in the 7th minute of play forced FC Kopsud's goalkeeper Alo Veevo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 8 minutes into the game, Jass Mäetaguse was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Kopsud's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pennikull FC the free kick. Jass Mäetaguse kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Jass Mäetaguses short, quick shot in the 11thth minute got Ermo Raik to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After having played for 16 minutes, Jass Mäetaguse managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Kopsud's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jass Mäetaguse was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bruno Käbin kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 18th minute of the match Viljar Väester shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alo Veevo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jass Mäetaguse in the 22ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ermo Raik, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With his leg Ermo Raik managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when FC Kopsud's Jass Mäetaguse fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 26th minute, Joe Hint left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pennikull FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 30 minutes into the game, Arvo Laos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pennikull FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Kopsud the free kick. After having played for 35 minutes, Aigar Riiga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pennikull FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aigar Riiga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alo Veevo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joe Hint in the 37th minute of play. Alo Veevo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eldur Post in the 41st minute of the match. Alo Veevo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aigar Riiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Pennikull FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jass Mäetaguse was the one to do the kick off. Jass Mäetaguse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Ermo Raik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Väino Naer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Jass Mäetaguse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jass Mäetaguse in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ermo Raik saved Pennikull FC from getting behind. Alo Veevo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdek Emane, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Kopsud's Hans Loide quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Arvo Laos, made in the 84th minute of the game. Jass Mäetaguse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bruno Käbin made in the 87th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Pennikull FC's Arne Maamägi. After having played for 90 minutes, Karmo Õnnis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Kopsud's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karmo Õnnis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alo Veevo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joe Hint, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. 95 minutes into the game, Karmo Õnnis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Kopsud's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pennikull FC the free kick. The supporters of Pennikull FC booed when FC Kopsud was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karmo Õnnis didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Pennikull FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
