The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Theodor Aaslo in the 4th minute of play forced Salme's goalkeeper Kaijo Lame to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Alari Stroom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee felt a red card was in order, 9 minutes into the game, when Alvar Veevo put in a rough tackle. In the 11th minute of the game, Salme got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post. 15 minutes into the match, UpsTeam's Theodor Aaslo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kaijo Lame narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Herki Müür made in the 17th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by UpsTeam's Sepo Verte. UpsTeam's Theodor Aaslo got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Markus Karai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Salme's Kaijo Lame played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Theodor Aaslo in the 23rd minute of play. Christian Rosén charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Christian Rosén the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Christian Rosén kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Bert Luiga got a throw-in 42 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Jan Vahi. The UpsTeam fans' excitement grew in the 44th match minute when UpsTeam's Theodor Aaslo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 47th minute, Salme's Christian Rosén dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Christian Rosén was the one to do the kick off. If Jan Vahi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alari Stroom made in the 58th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Christian Rosén however managed to control. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind UpsTeam's goalkeeper Janek Oese, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Theodor Aaslo scored 2-2 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kaijo Lame, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Janek Oese showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Rosén in the 78th minute of the match. If Christian Rosén had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Markus Karai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
