Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Edgar Arulepp took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Taimo Vatsar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Siim Roosna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harald Alev having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Taimo Vatsar in the 10th minute of play forced Diby's goalkeeper Harald Alev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Taimo Vatsar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Harald Alev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Diby's goal looked a bit too open when Taimo Vatsar came free, but Harald Alev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Harald Alev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Siim Roosna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute, Taimo Vatsar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Taimo Vatsar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Harald Alev having to make a save. Harald Alev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Siim Roosna, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Diby's Harald Alev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Taimo Vatsar in the 37th minute of play. Siim Roosna blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Harald Alev having to make a save. 42 minutes into the match, Varnja FC's goalkeeper Antti Leis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Raimond Hurm. 44 minutes had been played when some careless play by Varnja FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Maido Kena was slow to take the kick. During this time Diby's players had a chance to rest. When the match clock showed 47 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Siim Roosna sped through Diby's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Harald Alev. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Siim Roosna to make the kick off. Antti Leis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peedu Nugis in the 54th minute of play. Antti Leis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar Arulepp in the 55th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edgar Arulepp during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 58th minute, Edgar Arulepp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Arulepp in the 61st minute of play forced Varnja FC's goalkeeper Antti Leis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 66 minutes, Ander Virumaa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Varnja FC and the Diby players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 67 played minutes Varnja FC got a freekick which was hit by Ander Virumaa. In the 67th minute of the match Maido Kena shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Antti Leis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 72 minutes into the game, Siim Roosna recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Harald Alev. Siim Roosna showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. In the 79th minute Peedu Nugis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antti Leis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diby's Peedu Nugis got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Ander Virumaa was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 84 minutes had been played. Peedu Nugis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Antti Leis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Taimo Vatsar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Harald Alev having to make a save. A collision led to Varnja FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Enno Läänemets hit a great ball. If Edgar Arulepp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
