The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpected shot in the 4th minute by Kajar Aal got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 5 minutes, Olavi Lember mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the JK Lau and the FC Miiduranna players grew even worse after the yellow card. Olavi Lember hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Kajar Aal in the 6thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rait Ojasaar, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 8th minute Kajar Aal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rait Ojasaar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Timo Pentjärv received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Rait Ojasaar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kajar Aal who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 17thth minute tested the skills of Rait Ojasaar when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gerd Vanakool in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Franz Kapstas saved FC Miiduranna from getting behind. After 21 played minutes JK Lau got a freekick which was hit by Hanno Äkke. In the 25th minute, Kajar Aal made a precise shot to the right of Rait Ojasaar. JK Lau's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. The supporters of JK Lau booed when FC Miiduranna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timo Pentjärv didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rait Ojasaar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kajar Aal's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. 35 minutes into the game, Kajar Aal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Rait Ojasaar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Joonatan Kroon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Rait Ojasaar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kajar Aal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Kajar Aal came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the FC Miiduranna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kajar Aal couldn't finish the play. FC Miiduranna's Kajar Aal got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kajar Aal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 57 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Kajar Aal sped through JK Lau's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rait Ojasaar. The audience was convinced that Kajar Aal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rait Ojasaar was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. If Kajar Aal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rait Ojasaar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kajar Aal in the 81st minute of play. Kajar Aal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Rait Ojasaar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kajar Aal might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rait Ojasaar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kajar Aal ran back to his position shaking his head. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FC Miiduranna fully deserved thier win.
