Endel Luuk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind SK Theal's goalkeeper Olaf Eerik, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. SK Theal's Olaf Eerik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tavo Osjamets in the 8th minute of play. Emil Vedu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Olaf Eerik read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Endel Luuk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. SK Theal's Olaf Eerik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Endel Luuk in the 16th minute of play. After a rather tough play, SK Theal's Andres Freimann got a free kick in the 17th minute. Marek Uusmaa's late challenge caught a Pirita RJK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marek Uusmaa helped the player get up and apologised. In the 19th match minute, SK Theal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marek Uusmaa to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of SK Theal booed when Pirita RJK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mihkel Aavakivi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 24 played minutes Pirita RJK got a freekick which was hit by Uudo Lamp. Edvin Hendla made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Vambola Juur sent off a good shot on target. Pirita RJK's Tavo Osjamets got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pirita RJK's Endel Luuk got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 30 minutes into the match, SK Theal's goal looked a bit too open when Norberto Ekaitz came free, but Olaf Eerik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tavo Osjamets fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olaf Eerik having to interfere. Kiur Hinnosaar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Endel Luuk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Olaf Eerik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vambola Juur took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edvin Hendla. Edvin Hendla dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0.

Olaf Eerik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tavo Osjamets, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Emil Vedu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Olaf Eerik made a huge save. 57 minutes into the game, Endel Luuk cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Olaf Eerik was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 60th match minute, SK Theal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andres Freimann to maneuver through the defense. Uudo Lamp's late challenge caught a SK Theal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. When Andres Freimann came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the SK Theal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andres Freimann couldn't finish the play. In the 75th minute Andres Freimann suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. 75 minutes into the game, Mikk Vana was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pirita RJK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SK Theal the free kick. Mikk Vana kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. When Vambola Juur fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SK Theal's protests and gave Vambola Juur a yellow card for diving instead. When Pirita RJK's Tavo Osjamets in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
