To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Priit Viksi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Kusti Puusepp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Veiko Härg who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 20thth minute tested the skills of Heiki Valmas when he managed to save the team from getting behind. LG suitsukarp's Heiki Valmas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save LG suitsukarp from getting a goal against them. In the 23rd minute Priidu Agar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Heiki Valmas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Veiko Härg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Heiki Valmas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Priidu Agar in the 26th minute of play forced LG suitsukarp's goalkeeper Heiki Valmas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Veiko Härg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Veiko Härg's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 29thth minute, Heiki Valmas skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Heiki Valmas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Priidu Agar in the 31st minute of play. Veiko Härg struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Toomas Teller made the kick off in the second half. If Veiko Härg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Defender's Priidu Agar got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 62nd minute, Toomas Teller ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kusti Puusepp was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Toomas Teller sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Priit Viksi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Kusti Puusepp made a huge save. Ants Algaja hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. If Priit Viksi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Heiki Valmas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Priidu Agar, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. LG suitsukarp's Priit Viksi got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
