Alvar Kasimir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Sanglepp having to interfere. Hannes Ülavere made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eino Mõniste in the 7th minute. After having played for 9 minutes, Eino Mõniste managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Virtsu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eino Mõniste was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Virtsu's Hugo Lõhmus got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 16 minutes into the match, Alvar Kasimir had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jan Sanglepp. Virtsu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alvar Kasimir was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Lennart Kann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Raplamaa Jalgpallikool's Hannes Ülavere proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Raplamaa Jalgpallikool from getting a goal against them. After 35 played minutes Virtsu got a freekick which was hit by Helari Jaska. Jan Sanglepp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lennart Kann in the 36th minute of the match. If Ander Auru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hannes Ülavere made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Eino Mõniste sent off a good shot on target. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lennart Kann to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lennart Kann in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jan Sanglepp prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Virtsu's zone, Alvar Kasimir stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jan Sanglepp came out of the goal and Alvar Kasimir tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Raplamaa Jalgpallikool booed when Virtsu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Helari Jaska didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lennart Kann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Jan Sanglepp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lennart Kann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 87 minutes, Alvar Kasimir managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
