Ilumae's Ennu Are played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jüri Säga in the 24th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ilumae's Uno Üürike got a free kick in the 26th minute. Urmet Roosmaa kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Heiko Eit received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Eimar Valter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Urmet Roosmaa during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Urmet Roosmaa hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute, Jüri Säga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ennu Are was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Ennu Are made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jüri Säga in the 46th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Brigadiers United FC's Ilmar Joa got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 65 minutes, Jüri Säga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brigadiers United FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jüri Säga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ilmar Joa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Ennu Are tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Ilumae's Ennu Are got control of the ball when Jüri Säga tried to sneak it across the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 75 minutes, Ennu Are successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 77 minutes into the match, Ilumae's Arne Tenno sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eimar Valter narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Ilmar Joa came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Brigadiers United FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ilmar Joa couldn't finish the play. Jüri Säga made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 82ndth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Ennu Are would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. If Ilmar Joa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eimar Valter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arne Tenno in the 86th minute of play. Ilmar Joa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ilmar Joa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Ennu Are tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brigadiers United FC played a much better game than Ilumae and deserved their victory. The Ilumae players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
