Volli Ruusamäe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Alex Kõiv made a huge save. If Aadu Lipso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonard Välk's late challenge caught a oper JK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leonard Välk helped the player get up and apologised. In the 15th minute, Leonard Välk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 21 minutes into the match, FC Makhu's goal looked a bit too open when Eduard Randala came free, but Rasmus Bärengrub reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 22 minutes, Vasile Codreanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. oper JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vasile Codreanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 24th minute, Eduard Randala made a precise shot to the right of Rasmus Bärengrub. FC Makhu's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Rasmus Bärengrub took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vasile Codreanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aadu Lipso's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 34thth minute, Alex Kõiv skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 43rd match minute, FC Makhu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Volli Ruusamäe to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vasile Codreanu in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rasmus Bärengrub prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vasile Codreanu was the one to do the kick off. oper JK's attentive Uuno Jallajas managed to snatch the ball when Kalle Vellend made a throw-in in the 52nd minute of the game. The audience was convinced that Vasile Codreanu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rasmus Bärengrub was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Alex Kõiv made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aadu Lipso in the 55th minute of play. When the match clock showed 69 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Vasile Codreanu sped through FC Makhu's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rasmus Bärengrub. 74 minutes into the match, Klaus Tarien notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of oper JK's Alex Kõiv. Alex Kõiv was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rasmus Bärengrub stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vasile Codreanu's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Volli Ruusamäe notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of oper JK's Alex Kõiv. Alex Kõiv was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in oper JK's zone, Klaus Tarien stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alex Kõiv came out of the goal and Klaus Tarien tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Vasile Codreanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. Vasile Codreanus short, quick shot in the 97thth minute got Rasmus Bärengrub to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. oper JK's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because FC Makhu had won, even though oper JK had held more of the ball.
