Janar Üllas charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Janar Üllas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Janar Üllas hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Enrico Grifoni kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Raul Moorits. That made the score 1-0 in the 14 minute of play. When Pirgu's Edgar Uuesoo in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SK Esku's goalie prevented a goal. Jedrzej Dziewulski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Uuesoo in the 21st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Janar Üllas in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jedrzej Dziewulski saved SK Esku from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Enar Laasik in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jedrzej Dziewulski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Freddy Leemets hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Jedrzej Dziewulski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgar Uuesoo, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Jedrzej Dziewulski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Enar Laasik's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Edgar Uuesoo struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Jedrzej Dziewulski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pirgu. SK Esku's Jedrzej Dziewulski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enar Laasik in the 43rd minute of play. In the 45th minute Edgar Uuesoo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jedrzej Dziewulski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

SK Esku were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after Pirgu's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hasso Nõmmemaa took the corner. The corner ended in Antti Vägi almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Pirgu's Raul Moorits did a great save. In the 56th minute, Freddy Edasi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edgar Uuesoo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jedrzej Dziewulski having to interfere.
