The coaching staff of Rakvere Kotkad protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Taavi Liiv had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 22nd minute, one of Rakvere Kotkad:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Rakvere Kotkad. In the 25th minute there was a penalty for SK Ellavere. Üllar Öövel stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Kaspar Sõel. 2-0. Rakvere Kotkad's Aivar Osjamets got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Sixten Viispert fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SK Ellavere's protests and gave Sixten Viispert a yellow card for diving instead. 36 minutes into the match, SK Ellavere's goal looked a bit too open when Aivar Osjamets came free, but Martti Voolaid reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aivar Osjamets stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kaspar Sõel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enno Nuiaots, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Martti Voolaid made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Aivar Osjamets sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Enno Nuiaots in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kaspar Sõel saved Rakvere Kotkad from getting behind. After 70 minutes of play, SK Ellavere's Heiko Raidmets made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kaspar Sõel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kaspar Sõel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Argo Lukas in the 74th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in SK Ellavere's zone, Aivar Osjamets stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martti Voolaid came out of the goal and Aivar Osjamets tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
