Norman Sauna took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 5th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jaak Raudla. SK Huti's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, SK Huti's Uuno Luberg got a free kick in the 9th minute. Erki Kriisa's late challenge caught a Iygisu FS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erki Kriisa helped the player get up and apologised. Erki Kriisa hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. 23 minutes into the game, SK Huti's Taimo Jaakson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Peep Mustikas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Risto Virves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peep Mustikas having to interfere. Risto Virves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Peep Mustikas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 45 minutes into the match, Iygisu FS's goal looked a bit too open when Taimo Jaakson came free, but Peep Mustikas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Risto Virves got free with Peep Mustikas in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vambola Hunt was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Raido Vatsel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Iygisu FS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raido Vatsel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kalle Maasikas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Jaak Raudla made a huge save. In the 59th match minute, Iygisu FS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raido Vatsel to maneuver through the defense. Peep Mustikas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Taimo Jaakson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jaak Raudla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vambola Hunt in the 76th minute of the match. When Risto Virves came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the SK Huti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Risto Virves couldn't finish the play. Taimo Jaakson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Peep Mustikas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 93 minutes, Risto Virves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jonas Osjamets hit a great ball. 97 minutes into the match, Iygisu FS's Eerik Aas broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal.
