Eimar Valgupera's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kristjan Rosenbaum read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, Toovere SK's goal looked a bit too open when Tavo Laanemets came free, but Helmut Arula reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tavo Laanemets in the 20th minute of play forced Toovere SK's goalkeeper Helmut Arula to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute, Kert Nemvalts hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 23rd minute, Ingmar Lehis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tavo Laanemets received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Helmut Arula tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Toovere SK booed when FC Karula was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmund Vilborn didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tavo Laanemets was extremely unlucky when he, in the 32nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Tavo Laanemets received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Helmut Arula tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tavo Laanemets fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Helmut Arula having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, Tavo Laanemets dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Helmut Arula, 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tavo Laanemets to strike the kick off in the second half. Martti Ernesaks scored 2-0 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Helmut Arula, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Maido Nõmmoja was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 64th minute. Toovere SK's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Karula's goalkeeper Kristjan Rosenbaum, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of FC Karula booed when Toovere SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jarmo Potisepp didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Karula's Kert Nemvalts couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 91st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Toovere SK. Martti Ernesaks recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FC Karula's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
