In the 3rdth minute of the game Eedi Nõgel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Julla's Aadu Tagel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Veiko Honga during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, FS Maykse's Veiko Honga got a free kick in the 4th minute. After having played for 5 minutes, Siim Niilus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Julla's supporters crossed their fingers, but Siim Niilus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Egon Hendla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aadu Tagel having to interfere. After 10 played minutes Julla got a freekick which was hit by Kaimo Ainsoo. In the 11th minute, Eedi Nõgel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aadu Tagel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eedi Nõgel, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Aadu Tagel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eedi Nõgel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Eedi Nõgel managed to get in a good position for a shot. FS Maykse's supporters rose to their feet, but Eedi Nõgel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aadu Tagel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 28 minutes into the match, Julla's goal looked a bit too open when Eedi Nõgel came free, but Aadu Tagel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Egon Hendla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Aadu Tagel made a huge save. Aadu Tagel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Egon Hendla in the 35th minute of play. Aavo Saare's late challenge caught a FS Maykse's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aavo Saare helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Julla's Aavo Saare got a free kick in the 38th minute. In the 39th minute, Hardo Lehismets sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Julla's Aadu Tagel didn't even have to move. A collision led to FS Maykse getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Veiko Honga hit a great ball.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Siim Niilus to make the kick off. After 54 played minutes FS Maykse got a freekick which was hit by Eedi Nõgel. The supporters of Julla booed when FS Maykse was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eedi Nõgel didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Eedi Nõgel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Egon Hendla's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aadu Tagel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. In the 61st minute Eedi Nõgel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aadu Tagel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Siim Niilus was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 63rd minute. Julla's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Aadu Tagel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eedi Nõgel in the 66th minute of the match. If Egon Hendla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Egon Hendla in the 73rd minute of play forced Julla's goalkeeper Aadu Tagel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aadu Tagel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eedi Nõgel in the 75th minute of play. Egon Hendla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aadu Tagel having to interfere. After having played for 78 minutes, Egon Hendla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jan Ansip came out and tried to block the shot, but Siim Niilus slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 82nd minute. In the 87th minute Siim Niilus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Ansip saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Julla's zone, Egon Hendla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aadu Tagel came out of the goal and Egon Hendla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Julla getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Kaimo Ainsoo hit a great ball. Julla's Aavo Saare has a good shot, but didn't show it this time. The shot went over the crossbar in the 92nd minute. Egon Hendla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the FS Maykse players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
