Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Sergo Mahlapuu kicked off to start the match. After a rather tough play, Mekhide's Artur Sade got a free kick in the 4th minute. Villem Ehatamm's late challenge caught a Mekhide's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Villem Ehatamm helped the player get up and apologised. Villem Ehatamm kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. If Andro Edesi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sergo Mahlapuu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kaarel Kalm having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Sergo Mahlapuu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mekhide's supporters rose to their feet, but Sergo Mahlapuu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kaarel Kalm breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Andro Edesi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kaarel Kalm having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, Yaska's goal looked a bit too open when Sergo Mahlapuu came free, but Kaarel Kalm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute Mart Vahemets shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roland Tarand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Roland Tarand managed to avoid a goal in the 22ndth minute, when Yaska's Mati Pärnamets fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Villem Ehatamm hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 27th match minute, Yaska was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mart Vahemets to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute of the match Ardo Verk shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kaarel Kalm showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Mekhide's Andro Edesi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kaarel Kalm narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kaarel Kalm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergo Mahlapuu, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 37th minute, Mati Pärnamets got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Yaska's Kaarel Kalm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergo Mahlapuu in the 41st minute of play. When Mart Vahemets fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yaska's protests and gave Mart Vahemets a yellow card for diving instead. In the 47th match minute, Yaska was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mart Vahemets to maneuver through the defense. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The supporters of Mekhide booed when Yaska was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Veiko Üksti didn't get a good kick on the ball. 58 minutes had been played when some careless play by Yaska's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ardo Verk was slow to take the kick. During this time Mekhide's players had a chance to rest. A collision led to Yaska getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Veiko Üksti hit a great ball. In the 73rd minute, Ülo Kinkar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mekhide's Ardo Verk shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 74th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Kaarel Kalm but with some difficulty. Mati Pärnamets sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 77th minute of the game. One of Mekhide:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Yaska:s goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergo Mahlapuu in the 87th minute of play forced Yaska's goalkeeper Kaarel Kalm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 88 minutes, Veiko Üksti mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Yaska and the Mekhide players grew even worse after the yellow card. Veiko Üksti struck a weak shot in the 100th minute. Roland Tarand didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yaska. Yaska's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
