In the 6th minute Juss Lillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jass Ubar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jass Ubar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Johannes Põder's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. Johannes Põder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Jass Ubar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th minute, Illimar Lokko made a precise shot to the right of Egert Jaago. Sagritse's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. When Juss Lillo came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Sagritse fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juss Lillo couldn't finish the play. Johannes Põder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juss Lillo struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Jass Ubar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sagritse. After 47 minutes, Alari Aalja mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Viitka and the Sagritse players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alari Aalja kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After the first half Viitka were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
Sagritse's Johannes Põder got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Illimar Lokko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Egert Jaago made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Sagritse's Johannes Põder got a free kick in the 101st minute. Alari Aalja recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 102nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Sagritse supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Viitka's performance. The match ended with a win for Viitka.
