In the 11th minute, Indrek Smutov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alvar Sulg was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Alvar Sulg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Indrek Smutov in the 15th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, Keijo Oksmaa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alvar Sulg was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Rajakula FC's Alvar Sulg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Indrek Smutov in the 23rd minute of play. One of Rajakula FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Uydibe:s goal. In the 27th minute there was a penalty for FC Uydibe. Lembit Jobu stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Alvar Sulg. 0-4. After a defensive mix-up in FC Uydibe's zone, Uno Saar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Klaus Ämarik came out of the goal and Uno Saar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Rajakula FC booed when FC Uydibe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artur Vanakool didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Harri Ülenõmm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alvar Sulg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Indrek Smutov in the 45th minute of play. In the 48th minute, Theodor Virunurm ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alvar Sulg was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5.

The wind increased when Gerd Jüriöö made the kick off in the second half. Gerd Jüriöö scored 0-6 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alvar Sulg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 60th minute Gerd Jüriöö shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvar Sulg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. FC Uydibe walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
