During the 29th minute of the match Johannes Jahu completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Johannes Jahu a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to FS Kargu getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Johannes Jahu hit a great ball. Kalmer Laving could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Janar Viitmann made a huge save. Hugo Kelemen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rasmus Ülend, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. The audience was convinced that Holger Laada's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hugo Kelemen was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Holger Laada in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hugo Kelemen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of FS Kargu booed when FC Atlanta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kalmer Laving didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vambola Videvik hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

A collision led to FC Atlanta getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Heigo Näksi hit a great ball. When Aimar Albin came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the FS Kargu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aimar Albin couldn't finish the play. Holger Laada charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Holger Laada the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 71st minute Teet Veedla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Janar Viitmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 99 played minutes, FC Atlanta's Taavi Lond shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Janar Viitmann came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Atlanta reached it. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the FC Atlanta players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
