Thanks to some nice moves Ergo Lepisk could shoot a difficult shot in the 22nd minute, which Mark Ristikivi however easily saved by the left post. With a little luck, Hintsiko's Mark Ristikivi got control of the ball when Ergo Lepisk tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kristo Maamägi hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Laatsaret's Einar Riis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mark Ristikivi. That made the score 1-0 after 28 minutes of play. After having played for 32 minutes, Aare Pärna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Laatsaret's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aare Pärna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aapo Uluots took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sulev Virsa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 35 played minutes Laatsaret got a freekick which was hit by Mikk Jaama. In the 36thth minute of the game Kaur Veiderma who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Laatsaret's Aapo Uluots was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aare Pärna charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aare Pärna the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 38th minute, one of Laatsaret:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Laatsaret. Aapo Uluots had in the 40thth minute some difficulties stopping Hanno Jaakson's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After some careless play in the Laatsaret defense, Hanno Jaakson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aapo Uluots. The Laatsaret fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aapo Uluots should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Hintsiko's Leonhard Rank got a free kick in the 42nd minute. After having played for 45 minutes, Kaur Veiderma managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hintsiko's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kaur Veiderma was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aapo Uluots showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sulev Virsa, who was totally free with the ball in the 49th minute.

The wind increased when Einar Riis made the kick off in the second half. Sulev Virsa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aapo Uluots having to make a save. Kaur Veiderma scored 1-3 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aapo Uluots, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Laatsaret's Aapo Uluots got control of the ball when Kaur Veiderma tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Laatsaret getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Enar Kaldmaa hit a great ball. If Kaur Veiderma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Janek Vesi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Aapo Uluots made a huge save. 97 minutes into the match, Hintsiko's goal looked a bit too open when Einar Riis came free, but Mark Ristikivi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match was over Hintsiko could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Laatsaret throughout the match.
