Mark Ristikivi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leo Oha in the 5th minute of play. Sulev Virsa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgo Jürisoo having to interfere. Arni Ubar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Mark Ristikivi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arni Ubar in the 16th minute of play forced Hintsiko's goalkeeper Mark Ristikivi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kaur Veiderma struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Virgo Jürisoo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hintsiko. If Leo Oha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 23 minutes, Kristo Maamägi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hintsiko and the Roobuka players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 23rd minute, Kristo Maamägi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 27thth minute of the game Sulev Virsa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Roobuka's Virgo Jürisoo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Roobuka's Virgo Jürisoo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sulev Virsa in the 28th minute of play. In the 39th minute Sulev Virsa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgo Jürisoo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Roobuka's zone, Sulev Virsa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Virgo Jürisoo came out of the goal and Sulev Virsa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 47 minutes into the match, Leo Oha had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mark Ristikivi. Hintsiko's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leo Oha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sulev Virsa made a kick off. Mark Ristikivi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Olaf Tänav in the 53rd minute. In the 55th minute, Kristo Maamägi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Hintsiko getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Leonhard Rank hit a great ball. Arni Ubar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mark Ristikivi having to interfere. Mark Ristikivi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arni Ubar in the 61st minute of the match. When Arni Ubar came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Roobuka fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arni Ubar couldn't finish the play. After 66 minutes, Sulev Virsa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hintsiko and the Roobuka players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 66th minute, Sulev Virsa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mark Ristikivi made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Leo Oha sent off a good shot on target. If Leo Oha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 73 played minutes Hintsiko got a freekick which was hit by Leonhard Rank. Mark Ristikivi made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Leo Oha sent off a good shot on target. Sulev Virsa was shown his second yellow card after 76 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 79th match minute, Hintsiko was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kaur Veiderma to maneuver through the defense. Mark Ristikivi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arni Ubar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leo Oha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With his leg Mark Ristikivi managed to avoid a goal in the 97thth minute, when Roobuka's Olaf Tänav fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The Roobuka players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
