Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Roobuka's Arni Ubar started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Einar Riis came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Laatsaret fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Einar Riis couldn't finish the play. Olaf Tänav's late challenge caught a Laatsaret's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Virgo Jürisoo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Einar Riis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Juhan Lõpp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roobuka's Arni Ubar got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leo Oha's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 22ndth minute, Aapo Uluots skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Leo Oha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aapo Uluots having to interfere. Leo Oha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Aapo Uluots made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Laatsaret's Üllar Salusaar got a free kick in the 30th minute. When Leo Oha came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Roobuka fans jumped to their feet. Aapo Uluots showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arni Ubar, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. 33 minutes into the game, Enar Kaldmaa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Laatsaret's supporters crossed their fingers, but Einar Riis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Roobuka's Virgo Jürisoo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Einar Riis in the 97th minute of play. Laatsaret's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
