Vaino Laev kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. When JK Lyppe's Jörgen Volberg, in the 7th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for JK Lyppe. Mario Liik made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Leonhard Võrno sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonhard Võrno got free with Mario Liik in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 31 minutes into the match, JK Lyppe's goal looked a bit too open when Taavi Väester came free, but Frank Hõbe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jörgen Volberg struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Mario Liik didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for JK Lyppe. With his leg Mario Liik managed to avoid a goal in the 42ndth minute, when JK Lyppe's Leonhard Võrno fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Jörgen Volberg made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Jörgen Volberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mario Liik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Riivo Nurmik during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 57 played minutes Jk Torgu got a freekick which was hit by Riivo Nurmik. Mario Liik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonhard Võrno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vahur Rebane took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 60th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Frank Hõbe. JK Lyppe's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Leonhard Võrno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Mario Liik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jörgen Volberg in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mario Liik saved Jk Torgu from getting behind. In the 72nd minute, Riivo Nurmik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Taavi Väester put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Frank Hõbe. 85 minutes into the match, JK Lyppe's goal looked a bit too open when Raimond Voltri came free, but Frank Hõbe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, Jk Torgu's goal looked a bit too open when Leonhard Võrno came free, but Mario Liik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jörgen Volberg in the 90th minute of play forced Jk Torgu's goalkeeper Mario Liik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mario Liik came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by JK Lyppe's Jörgen Volberg. But to his dismay, Jörgen Volberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. The supporters of Jk Torgu booed when JK Lyppe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrus Konrad didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The JK Lyppe fans cheered their team off the field, for while Jk Torgu had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
