Joe Onkels short, quick shot in the 4thth minute got Otto Nöps to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Liyvaaugu's Teet Vinter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erich Ruusamäe in the 9th minute of play. Kaimo Märjamaa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Kaimo Märjamaa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teet Vinter having to interfere. 26 minutes into the game, FC Liivoya's Rait Lokko nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Teet Vinter made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Joe Onkel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Liyvaaugu's supporters rose to their feet, but Joe Onkel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Otto Nöps breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonhard Kurm during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Liyvaaugu booed when FC Liivoya was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonhard Kurm didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ardo Jaanovits received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Otto Nöps tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teet Vinter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kaimo Märjamaa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teet Vinter stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erich Ruusamäe's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. Joe Onkel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Otto Nöps tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half FC Liivoya were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Kaimo Märjamaa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teet Vinter having to interfere. Teet Vinter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaimo Märjamaa, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 57th minute, Samuel Rillo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Liyvaaugu's Janari Äss got a free kick in the 60th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaimo Märjamaa in the 62nd minute of play forced Liyvaaugu's goalkeeper Teet Vinter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute Kaimo Märjamaa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teet Vinter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. FC Liivoya walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
