The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kaimo Oese could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Lembit Laanes made a huge save. JK Toravere's Lennart Maa got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaspar Näkk in the 11th minute of play forced Lipniku's goalkeeper Kristjan Idasaar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th match minute, Lipniku was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lembit Jõe to maneuver through the defense. After 19 minutes of play, JK Toravere's Lennart Maa made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kristjan Idasaar was left in no man's land by his defense there! Uku Reisberg hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Kaspar Näkk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Kristjan Idasaar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Lipniku's goal looked a bit too open when Lennart Maa came free, but Kristjan Idasaar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lennart Maa in the 35th minute of play forced Lipniku's goalkeeper Kristjan Idasaar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of JK Toravere booed when Lipniku was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jürgen Männik didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute Lennart Maa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristjan Idasaar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute Kaspar Näkk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristjan Idasaar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Kaspar Näkk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Kaspar Näkk came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the JK Toravere fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kaspar Näkk couldn't finish the play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lennart Maa to make the kick off. Kristjan Idasaar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lennart Maa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Lipniku getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Jürgen Männik hit a great ball. 62 minutes into the match, Kaimo Oese had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lembit Laanes. JK Toravere's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kaimo Oese was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. With a little luck, Lipniku's Kristjan Idasaar got control of the ball when Kaspar Näkk tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lipniku's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Lennart Maa 66 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. Kristjan Idasaar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kaspar Näkk in the 70th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Lennart Maa managed to get in a good position for a shot. JK Toravere's supporters rose to their feet, but Lennart Maa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kristjan Idasaar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 82 minutes in the game, Lennart Maa fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Kristjan Idasaar having to interfere. After 84 minutes, Otto Aesma mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lipniku and the JK Toravere players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Lipniku getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Otto Aesma hit a great ball. If Uku Reisberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute Lennart Maa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristjan Idasaar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kaspar Näkk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Kristjan Idasaar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kristjan Idasaar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lennart Maa's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. Kristjan Idasaar was a little too slow when Lennart Maa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 97th minute. The score was now 1-3. JK Toravere played a much better game than Lipniku and deserved their victory. The Lipniku players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
