Lembitu Võrno might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anti Vinter. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lembitu Võrno ran back to his position shaking his head. Raigo Laanelepp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Anti Vinter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 9 minutes, Riivo Rebane mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the fc jobud and the Rea players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, fc jobud's Riivo Rebane got a free kick in the 9th minute. 11 minutes into the match, Raigo Laanelepp notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Rea's Anti Vinter. Anti Vinter was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Chip Beard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rea's Anti Vinter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raigo Laanelepp in the 18th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Einar Hernes in the 20th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by fc jobud's Riivo Rebane. Riivo Rebane might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anti Vinter. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Riivo Rebane ran back to his position shaking his head. 22 minutes into the match, Raigo Laanelepp notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Rea's Anti Vinter. Anti Vinter was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Raigo Laanelepp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Rea's zone, Alan Vanamees stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anti Vinter came out of the goal and Alan Vanamees tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lembitu Võrno hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. 36 minutes into the match, Jaanek Rammu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Raigo Viksi, 1-2. Raigo Laanelepp's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anti Vinter read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Raigo Laanelepp was the one to do the kick off. Jaanek Rammu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lennart Öösalu during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of fc jobud booed when Rea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lennart Öösalu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 65 minutes Rea's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gerd Kaldmaa who took care of the corner kick. The corner led fc jobud's Gerd Kaldmaa to fire away a dangerous shot which Anti Vinter despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Alan Vanamees fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored fc jobud's protests and gave Alan Vanamees a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 67th minute of the game. One of fc jobud:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Rea:s goal. In the 69th minute there was a penalty for Rea. Jass Kohv stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Raigo Viksi. 2-3. Raigo Viksi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eiko Leego in the 74th minute of the match. Jarmo Lossmann received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Anti Vinter came out and tried to block the shot, but Jarmo Lossmann slotted it home off the left post making it 2-4 in the 76th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Rea's zone, Raigo Laanelepp stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anti Vinter came out of the goal and Raigo Laanelepp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Jarmo Lossmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raigo Laanelepp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Anti Vinter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Gerd Kaldmaa managed to get in a good position for a shot. fc jobud's supporters rose to their feet, but Gerd Kaldmaa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anti Vinter breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jarmo Lossmann's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anti Vinter read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 98th minute of play. Raigo Viksi came out of the goal in the 99th minute to try and stop a shot by Rea's Eiko Leego. But to his dismay, Eiko Leego quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-4.
