Vakalepa FC's Rauno Orumets played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joonatan Lagle in the 4th minute of play. A collision led to Poikva getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Evald Room hit a great ball. After 12 minutes, Heigo Roos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Poikva and the Vakalepa FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 12th minute of the game. One of Poikva:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Vakalepa FC:s goal. Ralf Kama shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Vakalepa FC's Rauno Orumets played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joonatan Lagle in the 16th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Vakalepa FC's zone, Leopold Äike stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rauno Orumets came out of the goal and Leopold Äike tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rauno Orumets showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joonatan Lagle, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Maarek Laar scored 1-0 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Liis Ruusmaa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Joonatan Lagle managed to get in a good position for a shot. Poikva's supporters rose to their feet, but Joonatan Lagle was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rauno Orumets breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Vakalepa FC booed when Poikva was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harald Sõõr didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35th minute, Ralf Kama sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Poikva's Liis Ruusmaa didn't even have to move. If Siim Virk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rauno Orumets showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leopold Äike in the 43rd minute of the match. When Hannes Teinemaa fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vakalepa FC's protests and gave Hannes Teinemaa a yellow card for diving instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Leopold Äike managed to get in a good position for a shot. Poikva's supporters rose to their feet, but Leopold Äike was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rauno Orumets breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 48th match minute, Poikva was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evald Room to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

If Joonatan Lagle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leopold Äike could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Rauno Orumets made a huge save. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Vakalepa FC's goalkeeper Rauno Orumets, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rauno Orumets showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joonatan Lagle, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. If Joonatan Lagle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leopold Äike struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Rauno Orumets didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Poikva. After some careless play in the Vakalepa FC defense, Leopold Äike kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rauno Orumets. The Vakalepa FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rauno Orumets should have stopped the shot. If Joonatan Lagle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ralf Kama hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Rauno Orumets was out of position in the 79 minute of play, and Joonatan Lagle capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Joonatan Lagle really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. In the 83rd minute, Siim Virk left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vakalepa FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. In the 85th minute, Uku Edesi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Leopold Äike came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Poikva fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leopold Äike couldn't finish the play. Despite being the better team, Poikva failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
