Vambola Viilop charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vambola Viilop the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Pekhka booed when FS Lymmelu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vambola Viilop didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erni Ojavee showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ants Aabloo, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. If Ander Ilus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute of the match Kalle Tagel sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Erni Ojavee skillfully saved the ball. Ander Ilus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 43rd minute, Ander Ilus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tavo Kupits showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kalju Roovik, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After the first half FS Lymmelu were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ants Aabloo made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Priit Orumets's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Erni Ojavee was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. After 55 played minutes Pekhka got a freekick which was hit by Rein Nooska. Ander Iluss short, quick shot in the 56thth minute got Tavo Kupits to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Priit Orumets had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Vambola Viilop was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 60 minutes had been played. After a long run with the ball, Jaanus Tihemets did a trick in the 63rd minute in front of FS Lymmelu's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 1-1. An impressive performance by Pekhka's Jaanus Tihemets! Ardo Lehemets hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 75th minute there was a penalty for Pekhka. Jaanus Tihemets stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Erni Ojavee. 2-1. Ants Aabloo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erni Ojavee having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Pekhka's zone, Kalju Roovik stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tavo Kupits came out of the goal and Kalju Roovik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hardo Eelmäe struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Tavo Kupits didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FS Lymmelu. In the 89th minute, Rein Nooska hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Kalju Roovik came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the FS Lymmelu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kalju Roovik couldn't finish the play. The supporters of FS Lymmelu booed when Pekhka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andre Moorits didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kalju Roovik recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 99th minute, Kalju Roovik managed to get in a good position for a shot. FS Lymmelu's supporters rose to their feet, but Kalju Roovik was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tavo Kupits breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Pekhka players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
