The referee ignored Maasovitsa's protests and gave Taaniel Ilmjärv a yellow card for diving instead. In the 13th match minute, Maasovitsa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Taaniel Ilmjärv to maneuver through the defense. Tauri Saamatu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lembit Ahnus having to interfere. The tension between the fc JUSS and the Maasovitsa players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Maasovitsa booed when fc JUSS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Allan Kalm didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Kuido Kajastu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Villu Algaja was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kaspar Kurg was the one to do the kick off. Maasovitsa's Janari Käärt got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Janari Käärt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Villu Algaja having to interfere. Taaniel Ilmjärv was shown his second yellow card after 60 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Tauri Saamatu took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Lembit Ahnus to make any attempt to save it.
