Lembit Eilat's late challenge caught a Azeri FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lembit Eilat helped the player get up and apologised. Lembit Eilat hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Maarek Vene took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 17th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Benno Varju. Vihtsi FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Vihtsi FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Joe Treimann hit a great ball. Lembit Eilat got his second yellow card in the match during the 20th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Azeri FC booed when Vihtsi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lembit Eilat didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maarek Vene's shot from long distance in the 21st minute was not bad at all, but Vihtsi FC's Benno Varju knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Toivo Ustav hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Ernst Noor hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Benno Varju made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jaagup Kalvik in the 38th minute. Benno Varju showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aksel Põlluste in the 42nd minute of the match. Jaagup Kalvik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benno Varju having to interfere.

The wind increased when Aksel Põlluste made the kick off in the second half. Jaagup Kalvik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Jaagup Kalvik came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Azeri FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaagup Kalvik couldn't finish the play. Jaagup Kalvik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benno Varju having to interfere. Jaagup Kalvik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vihtsi FC's goalkeeper Benno Varju, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Vihtsi FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
