Norman Eelrand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alo Koit, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Volli Viira in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jaak Kree saved FC Barcelona from getting behind. Norman Eelrand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alo Koit, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Uuno Unt hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Hardi Kabonen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Norman Eelrand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Riho Kuningas made a kick off. Léo Simões recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kasimir Jaani kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match.
